This step well is situated in the North Chanderi near to Maatamadh. This step well was constructed by Cand Wakkal during the period of Malwa sultan Mahmood shah Kilji first in 1459-1460 A.D. Now present this step well water is used for drinking and bath. There is two inscription are one in Farsi and other in Sanskrit .
